AND THAT IS WHAT MAKES YOU INCREDIBLE !

I was reading Wonder when I came across this quote: "Everyone in the world should get a standing ovation at least once in their lives because we all overcome the world." So here I am, deciding to give standing ovations to all the people with terrible circumstances they are attempting to overcome to live their lives to the best of their abilities.

Here's to say our final farewells when all we really wanted to say was "Please stay." We had to abandon someone because they demanded it, not because we wanted to.

Here's to all the people we miss so much that there's only darkness with their voices in our dreams; here's to all the people we think about but don't even appear in our dreams anymore; and here's to the ones who are now just memories.

Here's to all the "forevers" that turned into "Never" in the blink of an eye, leaving us with nothing to do but bite back our tears, smile, accept things as they were, and hope for better in the future.

Here's to all those never-ending dark nights, days that flew by in the blink of an eye, setbacks that knocked you off your feet today or years or months ago, times you got back up on your own, tears you didn't wipe away, and you who keep looking for the silver linings in grey clouds.

Here's to all those times you sat in impatience and with hope completely lost, to all the times you needed inspiration that never came, to all the times when nothing worked out quite the way you hoped it would, to all the apologies you never said or got, to all the people we lost, because sometimes you have to lose things to understand what they truly meant and cherish them in your memories while looking for something better.

Here's to all the love you gave and deserved but never received in return, but you didn't let these people empty you; to all the forgiveness you gave but never received; to all the second chances that were lost because things were the same, but those people changed, and you blamed yourself (please don't).

Here's to the hardships and struggles that made you stronger and kinder. Here's to all the people who are clinging to someone who is no longer there, who is leaning over the balcony, hoping to fly.

Here's to all the adults who are still haunted by things their parents said to them as children, to the fights you avoided by covering your ears, and to all the people who give back more kindness to the world than it ever gave them in return.

Here's to everyone who just needed that one push but didn't get it and is still looking for that one chance to prove themselves. And to those who, despite their own difficulties, try to lift other's spirits with kind words.

To You, who is IRREPLACEABLE, UNFORGETTABLE, IMPORTANT, AND ENOUGH. Please don't let anyone convince you otherwise. You deserve a standing ovation for being alive and being you, however, you are or how you've been, whatever you've done or never found the courage to do, for getting through whatever people have done to you, for everything. Here's to you, darling. I hope you realize how awesome you are and how much more awesome you can be.
